FLIGHTS – The closest Airport is Adnan Menderes (ADB), a large international airport, which is located 14 km to the south of city Izmir. Izmir is located in western Turkey, on the Aegean Sea and Çeşme is a 45 minute transfer away from the airport. There is an excellent highway between Izmir and Çeşme you just follow the signs for Cesme.. It’s only 80km (50miles). Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport is served by regular scheduled flights from across Europe.
There are also many charter flights to Izmir in the summer season (April-October).
TRANSPORT – By Buses – The coach between Cesme and Izmir operates on a frequent daily service throughout the year. Take # 202 Bus from the airport ( fare is 2.7 TL). Bus leaves every hour from the airport to the Cesme bus station called Üç Kuyular ( Different than main bus station) then take Cesme bus ( fare is 12.0 TL). Buses leave from Uckuyular to Çeşme every hour. The journey takes 45-60 min. By Car Hire – Car hire is available from Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport when you arrive or in Cesme itself. It’s recommended If you would like to go different spots.
